Southern California is undoubtedly the Motorcycle Mecca of the United States. Countless miles of mountains, canyons and beauty interrupted by just enough rain to keep the asphalt clean. It doesn't get better than this.
Jim and Howard, getting up there in years, have taken to a more relaxed riding approach: Silver Yamaha YFZ-R1's. Jim rides a 2002 model, and Howard (thanks to a lady who turned left in front of him) rides a 2003 model.

They belong to the Oedipus Motorcycle Club, a gay group sponsoring rides on a monthly basis. In addition, we ride frequently with the Yahoo GaySportbikeRiders group. Riding with these two groups, in addition to many rides on our own, leaves few roads unridden in the Southern California area.
Additionally, Jim and Howard also corner work with the California Superbike School at Willow Springs Race Track, near Edwards Air Force Base. Our track experience, 12-15 times each year, keeps our skills up for the 150+ hp Yamahas.
